Entertainment!

So, we thought Ava needed some stimulation so we bought her this activity mat that has lots of cool toys and a little polar bear that plays music. Sometimes she likes it and sometimes I think she gets overwhlemed. :-)

A whole bunch of pictures.

So, it has been a couple of days and I am starting to get some emails, IM's and text messages from some of you because I have not updated the site in a couple of days. Alright, alright.... here are some of the best pictures we have got the last few days.

I was checking out what was going on in the Yankee Universe and Leslie dropped Ava off with me. I decided to read to her, next years starting line up, our rotation and a little about Torre's new book. I think she is a little young for baseball because she passed out once I started reading.
Either way, the hat will fit one of these days :)
A girl and her outfits... here is one of several "wardrobe changes" she has requested in her short time on earth. These little feet are just so much fun to play with.
We need to go back to the doctor for a follow up, we will get into that in a bit, so we wanted to give her a bath. Here we have the pre-bath cloth getting to her skin....
....and once again after we started in with the wash cloth.
So the doctors office.... our little one had a little bit of Jaundice which is pretty common. The pediatricians don't like for this to go on for several days so they gave us this "tanning bed" for her to lay in for a couple of days. This is supposed to give her all of the UV lights that she needs in order to clear up her minor little problem.

Leslie and I have been calling her our little glow worm for good reason.

I don't really have a set up for this next picture.... it is what it is.
One last one before I sign off for the night....
This is Dr. Ridenhour, she brought our little girl into this world. She moved with precision and purpose during and after the delivery, her bed side manner is second to none!
If you are ever in the greater Columbia area and thinking about having a little one, I highly recommend you check out Dr. Ridenhour!

We are all home now....

We were released from the Hospital Sunday morning at about 11:00 am. Everything is going really well, mom and baby are doing as well as anyone could hope for.

Leslie and I are pretty beat. The nurses had to keep us up through the night, checking blood pressure and vitals.... it has been trying but we are here at home and will be able to catch some sleep here and there.

I got a ton of picture in the last couple of days, which is to be expected. I will sort through them and get some posted probably tomorrow.

Again, I just want to thank everyone for visiting, calling, and sending messages in the last few days..... it has meant the world to us three and we are very grateful for all the love and support!
