Ava was being B-A-D. She climbed up onto the dishwasher when i was unloading it. All to get her precious spoon. She loves spoons for some reason.

Ava found Sophie's cat toy in the guest room and started throwing it around and Sophie went crazy. So did Ava. She was squealing and laughing. So cute!

Ava absolutely adores Sasha. She squeals and laughs whenever she sees her. Luckily for Sasha, Ava isn't that quick getting to her.

As I posted a few days back, Ava is obsessed with my laptop. If I have it on my lap when she is around, she has to come over and try to bang on it. Today she crabwalked around the living room to come over here and peer over the screen. She always gets this huge smile on her face. I think it is the anticipation of being able to bang on the keyboard. She is too funny.

And, yes, I was looking at howtocleanstuff.net Just trying to figure out how to clean toddler paw prints off our stainless steel appliances.

We are going to be joining a MOMS group and today we went to our first playdate. Ava made a new friend - Olivia! Olivia is 9 months old and crawling, standing and pulling up on everything. I think she will be walking soon!

Since the weather has been so nice the last couple of days we decided to do some exploring. We found a very nice park, but unfortunately the only thing Ava can do is swing. But, she loves swinging so no big deal!

Ava helps with the laundry. Well, she pretty much just pushed the laundry basket all around the living room. Perhaps I should have taken a picture of her pulling all the folded clothes off the couch onto the floor?

We had Dave, Tiffany, Lily, Jason & Crissy over for dinner tonight. We had lasagna and green beabs (Lily's favorite). Tiffany chose to feed Lily with a fork while I let Ava go at the lasagna herself. Perhaps I should have followed Tiffany. What a messy little stinker!

Our little girl is growing up! We finally switched our her infant car seat to her convertible car seat. She really likes the new seat since it sits more upright than the infant seat.

Ava is playing with her polar bear which was a gift from Pete's boss Kenn. I was sad because she would give the bear kisses, but wouldn't give me any. :-(

Somebody is excited about the prospect of bath time!! She loves splashing and playing in the tub.

Ava tried black beans for the first time today and she loved them! I'm scared of the diaper now! :-)

A photo a day!

While perusing one of my favorite baby sites www.thebump.com ,I came across a wonderful project that a lot of other Mommies are doing. It is 365 days of photos, or as I like to think of it "A photo a day." What a creative way of documenting Ava's and even our life! So, I am going to attempt to tackle this project. I mean how tough can it be to take a photo a day? Well, in order to keep me on track with this project, I am going to post the daily pictures here on blogger. I hope you come back frequently to check out what is going on in our little world!


For our first picture of the project, here is Ava's latest obsession. My laptop! Or anything electronic for that matter. She crawls over to it whenever she gets a chance. She loves banging on the buttons. Sometimes she does things or presses commands and I have no idea how to undo it.
