Princess Ava

Ava really enjoys the Disney movie "Tangled" which is about Rapunzel. She loves wearing her Rapunzel dress. And, Mom got her this fantastic (cough, cough) wig that she insists on wearing with it. She's such a girly girl.

Ava turns 3!

I can't believe our baby girl is three! The last three years have absolutely flown by! I am amazed at how much she is growing and turning into a little person with an opinion and likes and dislikes (lots of them). She is smart, loving, independent, inquisitive, stubborn, silly and beautiful all at the same time. Oh, did I say she is stubborn? I think she gets it from her Dad. :) Ava loves to talk and we constantly get comments on how well she talks. She is such a great big sister to her brother and she loves to play Mommy with her dolls and stuffed animals. Especially to Buzz Lightyear who is the king toy in this house. She loves to play with her friends at the park or at playgroup where she is usually the only girl. Her favorite friend is Edric who we see at least 2x a week. When they see each other they give big hugs and act like they haven't seen each other in weeks. It's so cute! We are considering starting her in T-Ball in April and she will start pre-school in August. Our little girl is growing up!

This year we decided not to do a typical bday party for her in January. Instead we will have a BBQ in April or May when the weather is nicer where we can rent a bouncy house thing. We did have the Grandparents over for dinner as well as her close friends came over to make pizzas and have cupcakes. They had so much fun!
